Easy Cobbler
Spread in bottom of 9” x 13” cake
pan: (this is also good prepared in a dutch oven)
Approximately
2 ½ cups pie filling or 1 large can (cherry is the most popular)
Sprinkle evenly on top:
1 package of
white cake mix
Drizzle around over top of cake mix
(do not stir)
1 cup milk, (
you can also use canned milk or half & half)
Dot
generously with butter ( ¼ - ½ cup)
(sprinkle
pecan or walnuts around on top if you desire)
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for
approximately 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbly clear through. It should
also be slightly crisp on top.
Cool until warm and serve with cream,
whipped cream or ice cream.
